A healthy attitude is contagious, but don't wait to catch it from others. Be a carrier. Always strive to be part of the cure, and not remain part of the problem. Also, ALWAYS keep your words soft and sweet, then they won't be as hard to swallow if you have to eat them! Think of someone that has said hurtful things to you. If you stood up for yourself and put that person in their place - would their words be hard to swallow for them? Most probably - that's also why these types try not accept that they are in the wrong - it's too difficult to swallow their own words. Bottom line, brush it off.

"When you are tempted to get discouraged, remind yourself that according to God’s word, your future is getting brighter; you are on your way to a new level of glory. You may think you’ve got a long way to go, but you need to look back at how far you’ve already come. You may not be everything you want to be but atleast you can thank God that you’re not what you used to be..."

Official Charity for Mr South Africa 2012

The Chrysalis Foundation offers a life skills course for girls from 14 to 18 who have been physically and mentally traumatised, and are vulnerable in their communities including those living in children's homes and places of safety. The purpose of the course is to uplift, educate and equip the girls to not only be in a position to cope with the crime perpetrated against them, but to also enable them to reach their full potential.

The main focus of the lectures is to impart knowledge and life skills to the students, but vital therapeutic elements have been incorporated into the lecture modules to address the trauma and the psychological damage done to the girls.
The results obtained to date have been phenomenal, and have been a life-changing experience for the 1200 girls involved.
The course is managed by a group of volunteer-businesswomen, and the lecturers are acknowledged experts in their fields of endeavor. Each course is comprised of 16 lecture modules presented over 3 months, as well as skills-building group activities, educational and cultural excursions, and takes place under the guidance of psychologists and social workers.
Once the students have successfully completed the course with both its practical and therapeutic benefits there are a series of ongoing skills-development courses and practical work experience opportunities available to them.

SUCCESS

Welcome every morning with a smile. Look on the new day as another special gift from your Creator, another golden opportunity to complete what you were unable to finish yesterday. Be a self-starter. Let your first hour set the theme of success and positive action that is certain to echo through your entire day. Today will never happen again. Don't waste it with a false start or no start at all. You were not born to fail.
